OVERVIEW
Damien Rice started his musical career playing with Juniper. After the release of their second single, 'World Is Dead', Damien decided to leave the band. The remaining members regrouped, became known as Bell X1 and have gone on to considerable success of their own. Damien, for his part, moved to Tuscany for a time. He returned to Ireland in 2000 rejuvenated and started writing and recording some of this material.

In September 2001, Rice released his first single 'The Blower's Daughter' which was well received in his homeland. Soon followed 'O' his debut long player.
