OVERVIEW

Palomine was a 1990's indie rock band based in Dublin. It's membership a veritable who's who of the local indie elite including Neill O'Connor [Keyboards, Synthesizer, Guitar & Drums], Glenn Keating [Bass Guitar, Guitar & Drums], Andrew Clarke [Drums, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboards & Synthesizer], Sorcha McGrath [Guitar] and Caoimhe Derwin [Vocals]. The band's sound drew comparisons to the likes of Belly. Very little else is known about the band and it's not known what material was released. However, in 1998, the track 'Pure Jelly' was included on the 'S@ccharine' compilation. It's understood that Palomine split the same year. Neill went on to perform with The Connect Four Orchestra and The Redneck Manifesto as well as releasing a strong body of solo work as Somadrone. Caoimhe played with indie greats The Chalets, Talulah Does The Hula and, more recently, September Girls. Glenn and Andrew both played in The Connect Four Orchestra. Glen also performed as Glenjammin Bones while Andrew other projects included Roackcoach and The Alpha Incident. Sorcha went on to front Dakota Floyd.
