OVERVIEW
Camille O'Sullivan was born in London to an Irish father and a French mother. However, she grew up in Passage West, Co. Cork. She initially studied Painting before pursuing architectural studies in UCD. Along side her studies, Camille performed in many university productions. She took a year out from her studies and relocated to Berlin, taking a role in an architect's office. It was here that Camille nurtured her love for cabaret. Upon her return to Ireland, she continued to develop her performance.

She graduated in 1996, with first class honours. Camille was involved in a very serious car crash in 1999 and she was hospitalized for a year. The accident reinforced her determination to have a career in music. She has since built her own niche with her interpratation of songs by Jacques Brel, Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Kurt Weill.

Camille released her debut album, 'A Little Yearning'. The following album releases were all live recordings which is where Camille is at her best. 'Sings Brel Live' [2004], 'La Fille Du Cirque' [2008] and 'Live @ The Olympia' [2008] all capture Camille at her live best.
