OVERVIEW The Northern Drones is a punk-rock band based in Dublin. The group came together in 2005 after an impromptu jamming session after a Dun Laoghaire College gig. The early line up of the group featured Steve Lowe [Guitar], Inga Eichler [Bass Guitar] and Justin McDaid [Drums]. John Houston later replaced Inga on bass guitar. In 2009, the band collaborated with Kim Acrylic on the album 'Fanfare Meltdown'. Since this debut, the band has released an album a year - 'The Northern Drones' [2010], 'One Hundred Eyes' [2011] and 'High Sky' [2012]. 2010 - Release of 'The Northern Drones' album [02 December] 2011 - Release of 'One Hundred Eyes' album [21 June] 2012 - Release of 'High Sky' album [01 May]
