OVERVIEW Neon Flea Circus are a Cork-Based 4-piece band who funk-fuelled pop tunes. The band was formed by Dan McLaughlin [Vocals & Guitar] and Fergal Coulter [Piano, Keyboards & Backing Vocals]. They were soon joined by Niall Honohan [Drums]. All three ended up in university in Limerick where they honed their musical talents under the moniker The Gin Devils. After university, the group relocated to Cork. The band had had a number of bassists over the years including Niall Veale and Robert O'Reilly. Upon their move to Cork, the band was, once again in the market for a Bass Guitarist. Enter local man, Brian Hennessy. This was when Neon Flea Circus was really formed. In May 2007, the band released their debut EP, 'Go For The Juggler'. The band released its debut album, 'Fistful Of I.O.U.s' in May 2010. They took the novel approach of making the album available as a free download About 100 hand-printed copies were also made available for promotional purposes. 2006 - Band contribute the track 'Paved With Slate' to the 'Southern Fried 2' compilation 2007 - Releaseof 'Go For The Juggler' EP [May] 2010 - Release of 'Fistful Of I.O.U.s' album [06 May]
