GALWAY | DUBLIN 2011 -
OVERVIEW
NaNu NaNu is a musical project featuring Laura Sheeran [Fovea Hex & Resound] and Marc Aubele [sometimes Bell X1]. The pair produce what they describe as 'alien synth pop'. The band's name pays homage to the late 1970s TV Show 'Mork & Mindy'.

Since coming together in 2011, NaNu NaNu have released a string of singles - 'Sonic State' in December 2011 followed by 'Skin' in February 2012. In May of that year, they performed as part of the 'Camden Crawl Festival' in Dublin. Their set, on that occasion, included a unique rendition of Blondie's 'Heart of Glass'. In October 2012, the duo played the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival in Dublin. That month also saw the band release its debut EP. Entitled 'Arena', the collection featured 'Aeroplane' as the lead track. The collection also included a cover version of the Katie Kim track 'The Feast'.

A further single, 'Pocket Of Gold' was released in January 2013.
