OVERVIEW Anthony Noonan or Anto as he is also called is a talented multi-instrumentalist from Clonakilty, Co. Cork. He has been active on the scene since his teens. He started out drumming with Catcher And The Rye throughout the 1990s. In 2003, he struck out as a solo artist. He worked under the anto moniker at this time. In June of that year, Anthony released his debut album 'Faster'. In about 2006, he started work on recording his second album. He completed the recording sessions himself - still a solo artist. However, during these sessions, it became clear that, in order to do the album justice, a full band was required. Therefore, his life as a solo artist was put on hold and Armoured Bear was formed. Over the years, Anthony has also performed with Lerner and Chucklehead. 2003 - Release of 'Faster' album [06 June]
