OVERVIEW
SJ McArdle is a singer-songwriter from Drogheda, Co. Louth. SJ or Stephen Joseph, to give his full title, has been writing, performing and recording music for over a decade. During his career to date he has released a couple of acclaimed albums - 'Lancelot' [2003] and 'Year Of The Tiger' [2005] as well as a string of singles and EPs. All of these releases have been on his own Uphill Struggle imprint. March 2006 marked one of the highlights of his career when he was invited to perform at a pre-Oscar function to honour Neil Jordan, Jim Sheridan and David Holmes.

SJ released his third album, 'Blood And Bones' in June 2011.
