OVERVIEW My Tribe Your Tribe is an electro-indie band based in Dublin. The group came together as a two piece of George Mercer [Vocals, Guitar & Synth] and Tod Doyle [Drums & Vocals]. George had previously played with Boy Lights Fire. Together with Doyle, Mercer cultivated a sound which could be described as electro-fuelled indie-garage-rock. Quite a mouthful, I know but it goes some way to demonstrate the diversity of the band's influences. The duo went on to recruit Colm Daffy [Guitar, Bass Guitar & Vocals] which rounded out the line up. The band released a self-titled debut EP in 2013. This 3-tracker included 'My Friends Live Here', 'Outside Red' and 'Love Not Money' The band returned in 2015 with a string of single releases. These included 'Only A Horizon' [February]. 'Ghost With You' [September] and 'Will To Survive' [November]. 2015 was a very busy year for the band of the festival circuit with performances at Body & Soul, Electric Picnic, Spirit Of Folk and Hard Working Class Heroes Festivals. Fast forward another few months and another new single was released. 'Garden Song' showed further progression in the band's sound with an increased edge.
