OVERVIEW mynameisjOhn is John Lillis - a Ennis-based Producer and DJ. He had been active on the scene for many years, however, his ascent to fame when he started working with Zimbabwe-born MC, God Knows. The pair collaborated on the 2014 album 'Rusanango/Family'. The album also featured the contributions from another MC MuRli. The Togo-born MC would later tam up with mynameisjOhn and God Knows to form Rusangano Family. The record also features Steve Ryan [giveamanakick, Windings] on guitar on the 'African Shirts'. In 2015, the Rusangano Family came into existence. The following year saw the band release the album 'Let The Dead Bury The Dead'.
