OVERVIEW My Brother Woody is, essentially, the musical vehicle for Michael Cleare. While the Offaly native is often supported by colleages such as Eugene McMahon [Bass Guitar], Sebastian Boes [Drums] and Steve Lynch [Keyboards], this is very much his baby. On listening to the music, it's immediately clear that My Brother Woody draws it's influence from Californian cool such as The Beach Boys. These breezy sounds can be found on 'Hanging Around' a single released in 2007 and on the debut album 'It's A Long Way From That Sort Of Thing.
