DUBLIN 1984 -
OVERVIEW :

The band got its name from a 1984 Canadian B-grade horror film of the same name. The name had been Dave Conway's idea, "it seemed like some good words" was apparently the reason.

- My Bloody Valentine formed in Dublin
- The band decide to relocate to Berlin where they record their first material
1985

1986
- The band move to London
- Debbie Googe joins on Bass Guitar
- Release of 'New Record By' single [September]
1987
- Release of ' Sunny Sundae Smile' single [February]
- Release of 'Strawberry Wine' single [August]
- Release of 'Ecstacy' [November]
- Dave Conway leaves the group and is replaced by Bilinda Butcher [Guitar & Vocals]
