OVERVIEW Modern Skins is a musical odyssey of 3 school friends. Ross McKiernan [Vocals & Guitar], Declan Gildea [Guitar] and Niall Jackson [Bass Guitar & Vocals] have been playing music for a number of years. More recently, the trio recruited a drummer in the form of Steve McCann. This allowed the group to develop beyond the acoustic sound which they had previously. In 2010, the group worked on recording the material which they had written over the previous years. The band's first single 'How Many Have To Fall' was released at the very start of 2011. A further single, 'Alphabet District' followed in June of that year. This, of course, was just an appetiser for the debut album.
