TYRONE, DERRY, WICKLOW 2007 -
OVERVIEW
The Minnows came into being in 2007 when Tiberius Minnows decided on a name change. The line up remained consistent and included Michael Rafferty [Vocals], Kevin Carson [Bass Guitar], Stephen O'Sullivan [Drums] and Paul Maynes [Guitar].

The band quickly set about releasing its debut album 'Holyland'. This record featured tracks from the earlier part of the 4-piece's career including the well known 'Time Flies'. Throughout 2007, the band released a series of EPs - 'Wedding', 'Something New' and 'Free Man Freeman'. By this time, the band had signed with the iconic Good Vibrations records. The following year, The Minnows first full release album, 'Leonard Cohen's Happy Compared To Me' was issued.
