OVERVIEW Maverick Sabre is the stage name for Michael Stafford, a rapper with R&B and folk influences. Stafford was born in Hackney, London but at an early age, moved to New Ross, Co. Wexford. Maverick Sabre made his debut in the music business with guest vocal performances on the 'Sense The Terror' album by Irish rappers Terawrizt & Nu-Centz. The following year he made similar vocal contributions to three tracks on 'Middle Class' by Jermicide & Danny Digg. He went on to collaborate further with Terawrizt and Nu-Centz before releasing his own debut mixtape 'The Travelling Man' in November 2011. 2011 was an important year for the young artist with the release of 'The Lost Words' EP as well as singles 'Let Me Go' and 'I Need'. Both of these releases reached the UK Top 20 and the Irish Top 40. In January 2012, Maverick released his debut album 'Lonely Are The Brave'.
