OVERVIEW Maria + Kieran are none other than husband and wife team of Maria Doyle-Kennedy and her husband, Kieran Kennedy. The could be considered Irish music royalty having played in bands such as the Hothouse Flowers and The Black Velvet Band as well as having separate solo careers. To date, Maria + Kieran has been a once-off recording project. The album which was produced, 'The Storms Are On The Ocean' features beautiful interpretations Many of the tracks on the album are considered traditional or old folk songs.
