The group was formed by Ali De Mora [Vocals] and Gerry Power [Guitar]. The band took its name from the Fleetwood Mac song 'The Green Manalishi'. There is very little known about this period in the group's existence. However, Manalishi soon morphed in to Ali & The DTs who went on to release the 'Get The First Layer Of Civilization Off' album in 2009. There are no known releases from Manalishi.
