OVERVIEW The Making is a four-piece band with members from Kilkenny and Monaghan. The line up features Brendan McCahey [Vocals & Guitar], Shane O'Dwyer [Guitar], Martin O'Neill [Bass Guitar] and Davey Long [Drums]. McCahey had previously performed as part of The Would Bes and The Wah Wahs. The group' ssound has been described as indie rock and they have cited 70s music as a major influence. In late 2009, the band went in to studio with Karl Odlum and recorded what was to become the debut single. 'Summers Gone' was released shortly afterwards and was backed with 'Safe And Well'.
