DERRY DATES
OVERVIEW
Conor Mason is a singer-songwriter, producer and sometimes band-member from Derry. He has been surrounded by music all his life and has been playing and performing from a very early age. A youthful Conor played with a band called Gentle Ben before stiking out as a solo artist. He has released 3 albums to date. The first of these, 'Let It Unfold' was independently released. The release date of this album is unclear with some reports placing it as early as 2003 while others suggest 2007. This self-release album is particularly rare. His first mainstream release came in 2009. In September of that year, he issued 'When It's Over' via Antimatter Music. Conor became a regular performer on the local Festival scene playing the likes of the Hard Working Class Heroes and The Playlist Festivals as well as Other Voices when it ventured north to Derry. Around 2011/2012, as Conor was finalising his third album, 'Standstill', he met 3 other like-minded souls and Little Bear was formed. 'Standstill' was released in March 2012. Over the next few years, Conor spent a lot of time Working with Little Bear. In 2014, Little Bear became Ports and the band's momentum continued to build.

At the time of writing, Conor is working on his fourth solo album.
