OVERVIEW
Carol Anne McGowan is a talented folk singer-songwriter from Donegal. She first appeared on the scene in about 2010 with the release of her 'Songs From The Cellar'. The extremely limited edition livve album was recorded in a 400 year old wine cellar in German town of Oestrich-Winkel. Limited to just 50 copies, that edition sold out very rapidly. Due to popular deamnd a second run was released the following year with the same 7 tracks but different packaging. Highlights from the album include 'Carrigeen' and 'So To The Sea'. 2011 also saw Carol Anne start to collaborate with Vertigo Smyth. Together, the pair released the single 'Fox Eyes For Georgia'. This was to tha start of an ongoing partnership as togther the duo formed Hidden Highways who released a self-titled debut EP in 2012.

Carol Anne also went to join americana outfit Sunday School Sessions.
