MEATH | DUBLIN | 2002 - 2007 |
OVERVIEW {Lost} was an indie rock band which was based in Dublin. The group traces its roots back to 2000 when Alan met with Darragh and the pair started working together. Before long, the duo met Paul and he joined the group. The lineup was completed in early 2002 when bass guitarist joined the fledgling group and Lost was born. Over the course of the Summer of 2002, the band recorded its debut, eponymously-titled debut EP. The next release from the band came in the form of the 'Components' EP which was released in 2005. That year also saw the band contribute the track 'Colder' to the 'Gigsmart ::: The Compilation Returns' album which promoted unsigned Irish acts. The following year, the band performed as part of the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival which was stage in Dublin during the month of October. However, in 2007 Lost decided to split. Darragh, Paul and Stephen went on to form Codes in July of 2007. 2002 - Band formed - Release of 'Lost' EP 2005 - Release of 'Components' EP 2006 - {Lost} perform as part of the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival in Dublin [13 - 15 October] 2007 - Band splits |
