OVERVIEW The Lofires is a Dublin-based rock and country group. The band centres around Niall Toner Jr. [ex-The Dixons, Those Handsome Devils & Hank Halfhead & The Rambling Turkeys] and Johnny Rowen [ex-Pelvis]. The pair started working together in 2009, sharing songwriting and vocal duties along the way. In 2010, the pair were joined by Les Keye [ex-Wilde Oscars] on bass guitar and Paul Cantwell on drums. In the Summer of 2011, the band started work on their debut album Their self-titled debut was released in October 2012 to positive reviews.
