DUBLIN n/a
OVERVIEW
A well-established hard rocking five piece, hailing form Dublin's north side, LiR are one of the best live acts you are ever likely to see. Their gigs in Dublin club, Whelans, have become legendary and they are regular performers at the annual "Vibe for Philo" gig organised by Smiley Bolger in memory of the great rocker himself, Phil Lynnot. LiR currently have two albums in the bag and they are recording tracks for their third album which promises to be a classic judging by some of the new material they have played at recent gigs. One of the new tracks, "Strangely Sweet", was recently performed live on the "Gerry Ryan Tonight" show on Irish national television. But also keep an eye out for "The Spontanious Frogs", which is a name LiR use when they are playing 'undercover' (It's also their original name!).
