OVERVIEW Leftbank is a musical project which combines the talents of William Declan Lucey [Vocals & Guitar] and Gordon Ashe [Drums & Percussion]. The pair are originally from Cork and have a shared history with the band Rubyhorse who released a number of albums during the latter part of the 1990s and early part of the 2000s. Gordon had earlier played with two other well-known Cork bands - Burning Embers and Colourtide. The Leftbank project came together in 2009. In December 2010, the pair made their debut album, 'Why Can't Man Be More Like Animals?' available as a digital download.
