OVERVIEW Le Boom is an electro-pop band from Navan, Co Meath. The group was born over the Summer of 2015 and since then have built a reputation as well as a growing following. The group, a duo, is made up of Christy Leech [Vocals & Keyboards] and Aimie Mallon [Drums]. The band's line up also featured Vaughan Byrne until May 2016. Aimie has also performed with Saramai. Since then, it's been non stop for the group. They have released a string of fine singles which have received airplay both home and abroad. The band, however, has built much of its reputation on the strength of its live shows. As such, the band has taken every opportunity to be on stage, playing the likes of Hard Working Class Heroes, Vantastival, Sea Sessions, Indiependence and the Electric Picnic. The band have also played shows in the UK, Spain, Iceland and US. In November 2018, the band appeared on the infamous Podge & Rodge Show performing a cover version of Haddaway's 1993 hit 'What Is Love?'.
