OVERVIEW
Noriana Kennedy is a national treasure. She has been involved with the Irish Trad, Americana and Bluegrass Scene. Born in Dublin to an Irish father and a Filipina mother. She grew up in Lucan but relocated to Galway in the mid-2000s to pursue her love of music. She started playing with Nábac in about 2006 before moving on to Mad Uncle Harry two years later. She spent the next period performing as a solo artist. It was during this time that she recorded her album 'Ebb N Flow' . Her backing band featured Noelie McDonnell and Nicola Joyce. Over time, this relationship was formalised in to a new band Wildflowers, who subsequently became The Whileaways.

In 2014, she was invited to join Solas as lead singer.

On a personal level, Noriana is married to Éimhín Craddock [formerly of The Saw Doctors]. Together, they have a son Jimmy (born in September 2013).
