WATERFORD 2008 -
OVERVIEW
Katie Kim is, essentially, Katie Sullivan. Katie was born in March 1983 to Irish parents in London. The family returned to Ireland some time later and settled in Waterford. Katie orginally came to the attendtion of the public as part of Daë Kim, a Waterford-based indie-rock band. She left the band in 2008.

Katie is regularly supported in the band by the likes of John Haggis, Ray Kehoe and Aisling Browne.

Katie Kim released her debut solo album in 2008. The record, 'Twelve' was originally released on vinyl only before receiving a CD release. The following year, Katie collaborated with House Of Cosy Cushions on a joint album project.

Katie returned in 2011 with a split single release with Laura Sheeran. 'Heavy Lightning' was unveiled as a first glimpse of her second album, 'Cover And Flood'. The single was released in August of that year on Flaming June Records.
