| OVERVIEW Just A Word was a Hip Hop / Rock crossover band from Armagh. The group was formed in 2002 and centred around the partnership of Martin O'Farrell [Vocals] and Sean Douglas [Bass Guitar & Synth]. There were other members of the group at one time or another. These included Neal Fox [Guitar] and Dean Metcalfe [Drums]. The band's release history is not well known. However, they released their debut album in 2004. The record was entitled 'Food For Thought' and showed real promise. One of the tracks from the album, 'N.I. Hip Hop' was included on the 'Gigsmart ::: The Compilation Returns' compilation which was released the following year. While there had been talk of a second record, it's not clear if this was released. The band was still active in the early 2010s. However, by this time, the band was located in London. The released a number of tracks to YouTube.
