DUBLIN 2003 - 2005, 2007 -
OVERVIEW
Juno Falls was an indie-pop band from Dublin formed in 2003. The line up included Myles O'Reilly [Vocals & Guitar], Dara Diffley [Bass Guitar] and David Shakespeare [Drums]. The various members had previously played together as The Swing and Blotooth before Juno Falls came in to existence. Keith Lawless also played keyboards with the group.

The band released 'This Song Is Your Own' as a single in 2004. As with O'Reilly's earlier compositions this was another piece of indie pop perfection. The band travelled to Schull, Co Cork to record its debut album with Herbie Macken. That Album, 'Starlight Drive' was released later that year. Momentum was building for the group and Juno Falls attracted major label interest. This resulted in the band signing with V2 Records in 2006. The first release on V2 was the 'Atom Bomb' EP [2007] which was produced by Ken McHugh [Autamata]. The band's second album, 'Weightless' followed later that year. The record was met with great critical acclaim.

Since this release, Juno Falls has esentially been on hiatus. In 2010, David Shakespeare joined Rory & The Island.
