| OVERVIEW In The Willows is a Waterford based folk-influenced band. The project started in 2011 when Dee Ryan met Dave Greene and started working together. The pair set about adding to the line up with Niall Cusack [Vocals, Bass Guitar & Glockenspiel] joining shortly afterwards. John Madigan [Piano & Bouzouki], Rowan Sherlock [Viola & Violin] and Niall McFeely [Drums & Backing Vocals]. The band plays a blend of folk rock overlaid with rich harmonies. The sound has drawn comparisons to the likes of Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes and Jeff Buckley. The group released its debut EP. 'Long Time Listener' in April 2012. The collection included 3 tracks - 'Time Of Year', 'Trying' and 'It's Gone'. The band's next single, 'Rowing Boats' followed in June 2013. The following yeat proved to be a busy one for the band. April saw the release of 'Sirens', the first single from the 'Vantage Point' EP which followed in May.
