OVERVIEW The Idle Hour is a band from Cork. The group plays a mixture of Blues, Jazz, Soul and Pop. The band came together during their early days in college, however, it wasn't until March 2009, that they started performing actively. It was then that that they enetered the UCC Battle Of The Bands competition. They won the heat and eventually ended up Runners Up in the competition. While there have been line up changes, the current personnel include Ailin Kennedy [Vocals], Colm Larkin [Guitar], Brian Leach [Bass Guitar], Kevin Mulcahy [Keyboards] and Rory Power [Drums]. There are no known releases from the band. 2009 - Entered the UCC Battle Of The Bands ending up runners up in the final [March]
