When Eskimo Kid finished towards the end of the 2000s, Karl, Michael and Padraic teamed up with Scottish girl, Christine Purdie to form I Am KAII. The band is known to have recorded at least 3 tracks, however, it's not clear if any of these made it to a formal release. The tracks in question were 'Chaos', 'Stand By' and 'Broken Glass'. The tracks were synth/dance driven and represent a real direction change from the earlier outfits. Christine's powerful voice adds another dimension to the music. The group appears to have disbanded around 2014.
