DUBLIN 2004 - 2010
OVERVIEW
Home Star Runner was a punk-pop band from Dublin. Formed in 2004, the band's line up featured Stephen Arkins on vocals and guitar, Jason McTernan on guitar supported by a rhythm section of Sean Reid on Bass and Anthony Kelly on drums. An earlier incarnation of the band featured drummer, Bob Deegan. In 2006, the band released their debut EP, 'Close To Home'. Shortly afterwards, the group signed with Blastspace Records. In the Autumn of 2007, their second single, 'Photogenic' was released, followed soon after by their debut long player, 'Kill Thee Messenger'. The band released one more single, 'Nocturnal' through Blastspace before departing the label in 2008.

Home Star Runner's final single was the independently released EP, 'All Systems Are Failing'. The band split in June 2010. Anthony went on to perform with Starters and We're Wolves.
