| OVERVIEW Frantic Jack is an independent rock band from Edenderry, Co. Offaly. The group was formed in 2009 by Daragh Fitzgerald [Vocals & Guitar], Pauric Hurst [Bass Guitar] and James Kearney [Piano, Synth & Percussion]. All had previously played with other groups. Mark Kelly joined on lead guitar in November 2009. The line up of the band was completed in 2010 with the recruitment of Mick Holton on drums. The band independently released an eponymously-titled EP in September of 2009 and this was followed by their debut single, 'Firefly' in October of the same year. The band rounded out the year with the digital release of 'Free' in December. All this time, the band had been working on their debut album. This was unveiled in July 2010. Entitled 'Independence' the collection gathers together 12 slices of the quintessential Frantic Jack sound. The band returned in early August 2012 with a new single, 'Soar'.
