OVERVIEW The Fallen Drakes is a Dublin-based independent rock band. The group was formed in 2009 after Brian McGovern met up with brothers Nabil and Hyder Ali while travelling in the US. Upon their return to Dublin, the trio recruited Slovakian guitarist Michal Bartolem. The self-released a debut EP, 'Death Of An Actress' in January 2011. In March of that year, The Fallen Drakes were selected from amongst 430 bands to support The Commitments at the O2 Arena. In July, the band unleashed its debut single, 'Girl From New York'.
