The group was formed in 2009. The pair had been working together in various guises since about 2002, however, it was upon the completion of their masters degrees in composition that they decided on a change of direction. This gave birth to the Eat My Noise project. The project acts as an umbrella for their activities from composition and performance to remixing and production. They have done work in the film, theatre and dance spheres. They have also written music for the John Creedon 'Wild Atlantic Way' series. Dave has also been a member of The Hard Ground.
