CASTLETROY, CO. LIMERICK 2001 -
OVERVIEW
Shonagh Daly was born in Castletroy, Co. Limerick in 1980. She was discovered by Andrew Lloyd Webber at an audition in London and went on to appear in his hit musical, 'The Beautiful Game'. In 2001, Shonagh sang at the Ground Zero Memorial Service in New York at the invitation of Mayor Rudolph Guiliani. The next major achievement in her career was a five-album record deal which she penned with Polydor records. She went into the studio and recorded her debut album. The album was preceeded by the single, 'All I Want' in 2004. The album itself was entitled 'Beautiful View' and followed shortly afterwards. However, the album didn't perform as well as expected and the record company ended the relationship.

Shonagh did not let this hold her back and she wsa soon back on stage in London once more.

2001
