OVERVIEW The Dudley Corporation is an indie guitar band from Dublin. The group came together in 1999 when Dudley Colley started to work on material with Joss Moorkens. Pip Moore joined the group some time later. Pip has since been replaced with Mark Jordan although Pat McGauley and Pete Brady both played bass at one time or another. The band boast a wealth of experience on the Irish independent music scene having previously played with the likes of Budge, Capratone, The Null Set and Willie Cleary 666. The band plays intelligent and witty rock music. The band has an impressive CV with 4 critically acclaimed full-length albums under its belt. The first of these, 'The Lonely World Of The Dudley Corporation' was released in 2001. The band's back catalogue also includes 'In Love With The Dudley Corporation' [2003], 'Year Of The Husband' [2008] and 'Everyone Does Everything Wrong' [2013]. The band can also boast a string of fine singles including several split 7" releases. In 2003, the band released the single 'What A Human Does'. This gave the band its first taste of chart success in Ireland. While the Corpo's activity has slowed over recent years, the individuals have continued to be active - either in a personal or musical capacity. Joss has drummed with Joan Of Arse and The Lamps which Mark has been equally active with Large Mound. 1999 - Band formed 2000 - Release of split single with Joan Of Arse.
