| OVERVIEW Dogabone was a short-lived band from Cork. However, the same lineup would go on to greater success between 1995 and 2003 as Cyclefly. Dogabone, for its part, was formed in 1995 and featured a lineup of Declan O'Shea [Vocals], Ciaran O'Shea [Guitar], Nona Presta [Guitar] Christian Montagne [Bass Guitar] and Jean Michel Cavallo [Drums]. The band released its solitary single - a self-titled EP - later that year. The collection featured two tracks - 'Better Than You' and 'Whore' which would later appear on Cyclefly's debut album. In 1997, the band decided on a name change and became Cyclefly who released two critically acclaimed albums - 'Generation Sap' [1999] and 'Crave' [2002]. After Cyclefly split, Declan and Ciaran went on to form Hueman with Declan also reuniting with Christian as part of Mako. Jean Michel has been busy drumming with bands like The Shades, Freezer Room and Slow Motion Heroes. 1995 - Band formed - Release of 'Dogabone' EP 1997 - Dogabone changed itsname to Cyclefly and went on to greater success |
