2008 - 2009

OVERVIEW The Dagger Lees were formed in 2008 when Stagger Lee ran into legal difficulties with its name. A name change was required and Stagger Lee became The Dagger Lees. The line up included Donna McCabe [Vocals & Keyboards], Grum Gallagher [Guitar], Benni Johnston [Bass Guitar] and Terry Cullen [Drums]. Donna had earlier performed as part of hi.rise while Terry was well known for his work with Ten Speed Racer and Daë Kim. While Stagger Lee released one single, The Dagger Lees are not known to have had any official releases. However, the group did contribute the track 'Bad Shoes' to the 'London Calling 2008' promotional IMRO compilation. The band split in January of 2009.
