DUBLIN | NORWAY DATES
OVERVIEW
Dacianos was a rock band formed in Dublin in the late 90s. While the band has gone through many line up changes over the year, the early formation included Barry Kavanagh on Piano & Vocals supported by Darragh O'Grady, John McMahon and Eamon O'hAinin. The version of the band released the mini-album 'Mis-Showbusiness' in 2000. A second album, 'Hold Music' followed in January 2002.

Soon after the this release, Barry Kavanagh moved to London. The group, as it had been, split but Kavanagh continued to use the Dacianos name. Over the next couple of years he worked with a number of English musicians and recorded a number of tracks. However, in 2005, he decided to relocate once more - this time to Norway. Once there, Barry recruited a number of new Dacianos in the shape of Marius Kolbenstvedt [Metallofon] and Håkon Larsen [Drums]

Not much more is known about the group. In terms of the original members. O'Grady moved to Australia, O'hAinin moved to Mexico and McMahon joined Rollers/Sparkers.
