OVERVIEW Christy Dignam has been well known on the Irish music scene since the early part of the 1980s. In 1982, he joined Aslan and has since enjoyed great success with that group. In 1986, while still performing with Aslan, Christy recorded a single, 'Rain On The Wind' with Don Baker. When Christy left Aslan 1988, he started working as a solo artist. His debut release was the double A-Side of 'One Man's Dream / Chasing Shadows' which was released in 1989. Shortly after this release, Christy started working with former G Squad and Fast Boys guitarist, Conor Goff. That duo performed as Dignam & Goff. In 1991, he released a compilation album 'The Singles Collection 1984 - 1991' which gathered together tracks from his time with Aslan, Dignam & Goff as well as his solo material.
