OVERVIEW Pete Courtney is a singer-songwriter from Monaghan. He has been active on the scene since the mid-90s. Since that period he has performed consistently although his recorded output has been light. He self-released his debut album 'One Of These Kids' in 2001. The album was well received and critically lauded. However, it was another 9 years before the follow up, 'Karma Biscuits' was released in September 2010. Pete had been laying down tracks for a follow up record, however, he had been unhappy with how they were sounding. He started recording in earnest for the new release in 2007. He prides himself on the quality of his material rather than the quantity or speed of its release.
