OVERVIEW Niall Connolly is an acclaimed folk-rock performer. Originally from Cork, Connolly is now based in New York. He has been playing music since his teens - initially with bands such as The Whumanz, Anomie and The Token Mellow Band. Niall then decided to pursue a solo career. He launched his debut album, 'Songs From A Corner' in 2001. This was a self released record. Since this debut release, he has continued to write, record and perform, all the time building a loyal following. His next long player, 'As Tomorrow Creeps From The East' followed in 2003. It was a further four years before 'The Future Tense' album saw the light of day. Throughout his career, Niall had been known for the quality of his live performances. In 2008, he released his first live album, 'Be There If I Have To Swim' which was recorded at The Crane Bar in Galway.
