OVERVIEW Cryboys is a performance band made up of some well known faces from the Irish music scene. The band, which started in 2013, features David Kitt [Spilly Walker & New Jackson], Dylan Phillips [Pet Lamb & Dinah Brand], Cian Nugent [Cian Nugent & The Cosmos] and Ruan van Vliet [The Maladies, Groom, Walpurgis Family & Squarehead]. There isn't a lot know about this group, however, it appears that it a lot of bluesy music including quite a number of covers like Shouting In A Bucket Blues [Kevin Ayers] and Hotel Blues [Louden Wainwright]. The band played it's first gig in Whelan'son 06 April 2013 and played a number of other gigs over the course of that year. At the end of April 2017, the band played a gig at Anseo on Camden Street, Dublin. The band is not known to have recorded any material. However, there is talk that a demo was recorded in late 2014 or early 2015. However, the details of this recording are unknown. 2013 - First gig in Whelan's [06 April]
