DUBLIN | BELFAST | WATERFORD 2013 -
OVERVIEW
Cruising is an Irish indie supergroup of sorts. The band boasts a membership which spans the length of the island - from Belfast to Dublin and on to Waterford. The full line up features Benni Johnson [Vocals], Claire Miskimmin [Guitar & Bass Guitar], Neil Brogan [Guitar & Bass Guitar] and Sarah Grimes [Drums]. Benni has played with Stagger Lee, The Dagger Lees and, more recently, Logikparty. Claire and Neil have been members of Girls Names with Neil also fronting Sea Pinks. Srah has drummed for a number of groups including Black Robots, September Girls and Cave Ghosts. The quartet came together in 2013 as a side project from their group responsibilities. The band's name is inspired by the 1980 film of the same name which featured Al Pacino. The band's sound has been described as post-punk.

In August 2015, Cruising released its self-titled debut EP. The full track-listing for the EP was 'The Spectacle', 'You Made Me Do That', 'Safe Corridor', 'Lifting', 'Woman' and 'Cutlass'.With increased activity once again from some of the 'parent' groups, it's not clear if Cruising plan to continue playing together.
