OVERVIEW

The Cracker Factory was a 1980s band formed by brothers John and Anthony Moran from East Wall, Dublin. Over the years, the band featured a number of other members including Declan Mulligan [Bass Guitar], Paul Harper [Bass Guitar], Paul Gaffney [Guitar], David O'Reilly [Trumpet], Dave Radford [Guitar & Vocals] and Martin Lynch [Vocals & Rhythm Guitar]. Lynch had joined from The Dazzberries, an outfit which pre-dated Something Happens.

There is little known about the Cracker Factory. However, in 1986, the group recorded the track 'This Is Where The Fire Starts' at Sun Studios in Temple Bar. A remixed version of this track appeared on the internet in 2011. It's not known if the band recorded any other material.
