The group was formed in about 2003 after friends Danny O'Reilly [Vocals & Guitars], Conor Egan [Drums] and Graham Knox [Bass Guitar] had left school. While they had earlier been attending Terenure College, the trio had performed together as Kiros. The band released the 'Live At The Voodoo Lounge' EP in 2004. Corona released a self-titled EP in 2005. In the wake of the EP release, the band decided on a name change as an Italian dance act as using the same title. The band then became The Coronas. As The Coronas, the band has gone on to release a series of successful albums including - 'Heroes Of Ghosts' [2007], 'Tony Was An Ex-Con [2009] and 'Closer To You' [2011] LINE UP Danny O'Reilly [Vocals & Guitars], Conor Egan [Drums], Graham Knox [Bass Guitar] FAMILY TREE LINKS The Coronas, Kiros, Danny O'Reilly |
