TALLAGHT, CO. DUBLIN 2011 - 2014
OVERVIEW
Common Wolf was a rock band based in the Tallaght region of Dublin. The group was formed in the Summer of 2011 by Ross O'Farrell [Vocals & Guitar] and Glenn Malone [Bass Guitar]/ The lineup was completed with the addition of Shane Byrne [Guitar] and Cathal Dudon [Drums]. The band's sound has drawn comparison to Joy Division and The Strokes - a wide spectrum indeed. The band played regularly in Dublin and beyond including gigs at The Workman's Club and in Whelan's.

In September 2012, the band released the eponymously-titled 'Common Wolf' EP with a gig in The Mercantile in Dublin. The collection included 'Take It All', 'Did I Just Imagine' and 'Goodbye'. The band released a number of other singles, notably 'The Good I Own' before finally splitting in February 2014. Ross and Glenn have since turned up performing with folk outfit The Led Farmers.
