Colour Of The Sun was an early 1990s band which was fronted by a youthful Mark Dignam. The remainder of the line up included Declan Kenny [Guitar & Backing Vocals], Eileen Tackney [Piano, Keyboards & Backing Vocals], Jenny Dowling [Vocals, Backing Vocals & Percussion], Brian O'Toole [Bass Guitar] and Sean Cooke [Drums & Percussion].

There is very little known about this group. It's not clear if there were any formal releases, however, the band appeared on a couple of compilations in 1993. The track 'Glide' was contributed to the 'Why Love?' compilation that year. Colour Of The Sun also contributed 'My Good God' and 'The Sun & The Moon' to the 'RockHall Records Sampler'

The band is understood to have split in 1993/94. Mark went on to forge a successful solo career releasing a string of albums. He has since relocated to the US. Brian would later perform with bands such as Coade, The Racketeers and Clay Dolls. Eileen later turned up in Emily's Eldest along with Ben Tiernan.
